Scope: Signum Logics public website and Signum Private Marketplace activity
1. Scope of this Notice
This Privacy Notice explains how Signum Logics ("Signum," "we," "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information through the Signum Logics public website, public inquiry or correction forms, authenticated marketplace, account-registration flow, purchase and license flow, delivery and support workflow, and other Signum pages that link to this Notice.
This v0.3 Notice is the governed production Privacy Notice for the Signum Private Marketplace. The Signum contracting legal entity is RainMakers Private Equity, LLC, and the legal and privacy contact is Jim Soleymanlou, [email protected].
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with Signum, we may collect:
Account and contact information
• name;
• work or account email address;
• email-verification status;
• account/user identifier;
• professional or business information you choose to provide;
• organization or employer information if you voluntarily provide it or if a non-standard arrangement requires it.
A standard Phase 1 account and purchase do not require an organization record.
Transaction and license information
• Brief identifier and release/version reference;
• purchase, order, and payment reference;
• price, currency, transaction status, and delivery status;
• license status and applicable distribution slot;
• refund or remedy records where applicable;
• billing information reasonably required to process or document a transaction.
Payment-card information may be collected and processed directly by a payment service provider. Signum should not be represented as storing complete payment-card credentials unless the actual production configuration does so.
Legal-assent records
To establish and reproduce electronic acceptance, Signum may retain:
• legal-document identifier and version;
• an immutable or reproducible copy of the terms presented;
• document hash;
• exact assent text displayed;
• acceptance timestamp;
• acceptance method or user action;
• account and transaction identifiers;
• IP address and user-agent or comparable technical context where collected.
Marketplace and delivery activity
We may collect records of:
• marketplace access;
• Preview access;
• purchase and finalization events;
• Brief access or download events where available;
• delivery notifications;
• support and verification requests;
• correction, update, withdrawal, or remedy activity associated with a purchased Brief.
Public inquiry, correction, and support information
We may collect information you submit directly, including your message, source links, attachments, correction materials, and other information you choose to provide.
Do not submit confidential borrower information, consumer financial information, health information, legal case materials, credentials, or non-public transaction data unless Signum has expressly agreed in writing to receive it through an approved channel.
Technical, security, and device information
The website, marketplace, and their service providers may collect limited technical information such as:
• IP address;
• browser and device type;
• operating system;
• timestamps;
• pages or functions accessed;
• referring page;
• approximate location derived from network information;
• authentication, fraud-prevention, and form-security signals;
• cookies or similar identifiers used for essential functionality, security, analytics, or performance where configured.
3. How we use information
We may use personal information to:
• create, verify, and administer accounts;
• authenticate users and protect account security;
• display marketplace content and purchased entitlements;
• process, finalize, document, and deliver purchases;
• administer Brief licenses and the five-customer distribution limit;
• preserve and reproduce legal assent;
• provide purchase confirmations and support;
• respond to verification, correction, or Accuracy Remedy requests;
• investigate fraud, misuse, security events, or suspected violations;
• communicate about account, transaction, legal, or operational matters;
• respond to inquiries and evaluate commercial or strategic fit;
• operate, secure, troubleshoot, test, and improve Signum systems;
• maintain accounting, tax, audit, and business records;
• establish, exercise, or defend legal rights; and
• comply with applicable law.
We do not use an inferred employer or organization identity as a routine prerequisite to standard Phase 1 account creation or purchase.
4. How we disclose information
We may disclose personal information to service providers and contractors that support:
• hosting, cloud infrastructure, databases, and storage;
• identity, authentication, and account security;
• payment processing and transaction support;
• email and delivery notifications;
• application security, logging, monitoring, and fraud prevention;
• limited analytics or performance measurement where approved;
• professional, legal, accounting, or compliance services.
We may also disclose information:
• when required by law, legal process, or a valid governmental request;
• to protect rights, safety, property, users, or systems;
• to investigate fraud or misuse; or
• in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of all or part of the relevant business, subject to appropriate protections.
Signum does not sell personal information for money.
The Phase 1 staging legal package does not authorize advertising pixels, cross-context behavioral advertising, or the use of marketplace account or purchase data for third-party targeted advertising. Before production, Signum must verify whether any analytics, advertising, or tracking configuration constitutes a "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising under applicable law and update the production notice and controls if necessary.
5. Cookies, tracking signals, and similar technologies
Signum may use cookies or similar technologies that are reasonably necessary for authentication, account security, session management, fraud prevention, and basic site functionality. Limited analytics or performance technology may be used only if approved for the applicable environment.
Browser "Do Not Track" settings do not change collection that is necessary for authentication, security, or essential functionality.
If Signum becomes subject to a legal obligation to recognize an opt-out preference signal, including a legally recognized Global Privacy Control signal, the production configuration must honor that signal as required by applicable law.
6. Retention
Signum retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Notice, taking into account:
• the duration of the account or license relationship;
• the need to reproduce legal assent and transaction history;
• delivery and customer-support needs;
• security, fraud-prevention, and audit requirements;
• accounting, tax, and legal obligations;
• dispute, enforcement, and record-preservation needs; and
• staging acceptance and system-verification requirements.
Different categories may be retained for different periods. Signum should not retain personal information longer than reasonably necessary for the disclosed purpose unless continued retention is permitted or required by law.
7. Security
Signum uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure.
No system, storage method, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. Your choices and privacy requests
Depending on applicable law and your relationship with Signum, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about certain personal information.

Please describe the request and provide enough information for Signum to identify the relevant account or records. Signum may need to verify the request and may retain information where permitted or required by law, including records necessary to document transactions, legal assent, security events, or legal obligations.
If production law or scale requires additional privacy-request methods, opt-out links, or jurisdiction-specific rights language, those must be added before production activation.
9. Children
Signum is intended for business and professional audiences and is not directed to children under 18. Signum does not knowingly invite children to create marketplace accounts or purchase Intelligence Briefs.
10. Third-party links and public sources
Signum pages and Briefs may link to public records, agencies, registries, and other third-party websites. Their privacy and security practices are governed by their own terms and policies.
11. Changes to this Notice
Signum may update this Notice as its services, data practices, or legal obligations change.
The effective date and document version will be revised when a new governed version is issued. Material changes that affect marketplace users will be communicated or presented for renewed acknowledgement where required by applicable law or the governing account terms.
Prior governed versions associated with recorded assent should remain reproducible.
